How does the cost of a premium vinyl fence compare to a traditional wood fence?
Yes, you can use a vinyl fence panel as a gate. All you need to do is attach the panel to the posts on either side of the opening, and then add a latch or hinge to one side so that it opens and closes. You may want to reinforce the panel with metal brackets or strips if it will be subject to a lot of wear and tear.
How long do ProVinyl Fence products last?
With proper installation and minimal maintenance, our vinyl fences can last 30 years or more, maintaining both strength and appearance.
Do premium vinyl fences become brittle in winter?
Vinyl may be less flexible in cold weather, but it won’t crack or break under normal conditions. Our fences contain impact modifiers that make them stronger and more durable, helping them stay reliable year-round.
Will ProVinyl Fence vinyl products turn yellow over time?
No. Our fences include high-quality UV inhibitors and titanium dioxide to prevent sun damage and discoloration. With proper care, they maintain their bright, clean look for years.
What warranty does ProVinyl Fence offer?

A 2-year workmanship warranty on installation
This covers defects in materials and installation under normal use.
How do ProVinyl Fence fences perform in windy conditions?
Our fences are designed to withstand typical wind forces. Wind resistance varies by fence style (privacy vs. picket) and proper installation. When installed correctly, they perform reliably even in windy areas.
Do ProVinyl Fence products require maintenance?
Very little. Our fences won’t rot, rust, blister, or peel. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water is enough to keep them looking great.
Can you paint a PVC fence or deck?
We do not recommend painting PVC fences or decks. While paints for PVC exist, painting to change color will void the warranty. Our products are designed to keep their color and finish for years without painting. If you want a different color, consult your contractor about options.
Can I customize the color and style of my fence or deck?
Yes! We offer a wide range of profiles, colors, and finishes, plus design support to help you find the perfect match for your property.
